Music Video Production

Music Videos That Earn the Replay.

From the first concept call to the final delivered cut, every music video production project is handled with intention. I take time to understand the song, the artist, and what the video has to do across release, social, and live, so the shoot itself stays focused on the performance and the world we built around it. Working with artists and labels across London, Ontario, Toronto, and the rest of the province on music videos built to actually represent the record.

  • Years of writing, directing, and shooting music videos for independent artists and labels
  • Cinema cameras, cine primes, gimbals, and full lighting kits on every shoot
  • Concept development, treatments, and on-set music video director duties handled end to end
  • Calm, confident sets that keep artists in their performance
  • Platform-ready delivery for YouTube, Vevo, and label promo channels

BENEFITS

Why It Makes a Difference

Concept-First Pre-Production

Before any shot list is locked, we sit with the song, the artist, and the world the video has to live in. The groundwork is what separates considered music video production from a polished shoot that does not understand the record.

Cinema-Grade Equipment

From cinema cameras and cine primes to gimbals, anamorphic glass, and full lighting kits, every piece of gear is chosen for the look the song calls for, with uncompromising quality on every frame of the music video shoot.

A Confident, Calm Set

Artists arrive nervous and leave free. As your music video director I direct the set with intention so the production stays on schedule, the talent stays in their performance, and the camera catches the moments that earn the replay.

Intentional Post-Production

Editorial pacing, colour grading, VFX, and sound-sync are handled with restraint. Every cut serves the song, never the showreel, which is exactly what a music video is supposed to do for the artist.

Polished Final Delivery

The final music video is delivered in full resolution with platform-ready cuts for YouTube, Vevo, social, and label promo. A structured review round is built in so the version that goes live is exactly the one you signed off on.

Story-First Direction

Whether you are an independent artist booking a music video shoot for the first time or a label commissioning music video production services across a release cycle, every frame is shaped around the role the video has to play for the project.

How it Works

Great music video production is built from the song outwards. Here is what working together looks like, from concept call to final cut.

CONCEPT & PRE-PRODUCTION

The work starts the moment you reach out. We listen to the song properly, talk through references, and develop a treatment with story, look, and locations. From there I scout, cast, board the shoot, and lock production: crew, talent, wardrobe, and any movement rigs the concept needs.

SHOOT DAY

On the day, the production runs to the schedule and the treatment. Cinema cameras, cine glass, gimbals, and lighting do the technical work while I direct the artist, the talent, and the room. Performance takes, narrative coverage, and detail inserts are all captured so the edit has the range it needs.

EDITING & DELIVERY

After the shoot, the edit is built around the song: pacing, sound-sync, colour grading, VFX, and final mix. Your finished music video is delivered in full resolution with cuts for YouTube, Vevo, and social, alongside a structured review round before anything is delivered to label or platforms.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to produce a music video?

The cost of music video production is shaped by concept, shoot days, locations, talent, crew size, and post complexity. A focused single-location performance shoot sits very differently from a narrative video with multiple locations and VFX work. Every quote is itemised so independent artists and labels can see what concept, production, and post each cost before committing.

What does the music video production process look like, from concept to final cut?

Every project starts by listening to the song properly and developing a treatment with story, look, and locations. From there we move into pre-production, then a fully-directed shoot, then a structured edit with colour, VFX, and sound-sync. As music video director I run the whole pipeline so there is one accountable owner from concept through to delivery.

What's included in a music video production package?

Every music video production package includes concept and treatment, location scouting and casting where needed, the shoot itself, editing, colour grading, basic VFX, and final delivery in platform-ready cuts. Add-ons such as advanced VFX, additional shoot days, or extra cuts for social are scoped at booking so the production stays on plan.

How long does it take to shoot and edit a music video?

A standard music video shoot is a single day on-location, occasionally two for narrative-heavy concepts. Post-production runs roughly two to four weeks depending on cut complexity and VFX scope. Full timeline from concept lock to final delivery is typically four to six weeks, with the schedule confirmed in writing during pre-production.

Do you handle creative direction, location scouting, and casting?

Yes. As a music video production company I handle treatment development, creative direction on set, location scouting, casting, and crew. Artists and labels can come in with a fully formed idea or just the song; either way the music video production services on offer cover the whole pipeline from blank page to delivery.

Can you work within indie or low-budget music video budgets?

Yes. Indie and low-budget music video shoots are scoped tightly: a single location, smaller crew, leaner concept, and a focused performance edit. The aim is always a music video that does not look like its budget. The conversation always starts with the song and what is genuinely possible, not a price-list quote that ignores the realities of independent music.
